The Village is bustling all year long. Beautifully manicured planters show off their vibrant blooms, and bright green trees line the streets, providing shade to shoppers during the spring and summer. In fall, the San Bernadino Valley backdrop is bursting with autumnal hues of yellow, orange, and crimson, and wintertime turns The Village into a winter wonderland with twinkling holiday lights.
Where to Park in The Village?
The Village offers free parking. Spaces in front of shops are available on Village Dr. and Pine Knot Ave.
There are also public parking lots located on Bartlett Rd., Knickerbocker Rd., Pennsylvania Ave., Alden Rd. and behind the Oakside Restaurant.
Electric vehicle charging stations can be found at the Pennsylvania Public Lot.
No overnight parking is permitted in any public parking lot in Big Bear.
There is also the Free Big Bear Trolley – a fun and easy way to navigate the town.

Located conveniently in The Village, Barrel 33 is a local favorite spot to sit back, relax, and toast to the mountain life. This family-owned wine bar offers beer, cider, wine, hard seltzers, and non-alcoholic options. They also serve several small plates to choose from – perfect to pair with a glass of wine from their own exclusive label. We love their charcuterie platter and burrata prosciutto flatbread. Everything is first come first serve, so no reservations are needed. Pups are welcome, too!
