Leavenworth’S Oktoberfest Events – 2022
Leavenworth, WA is a charming Bavarian-themed village set in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. People from all over the world descend upon Leavenworth, to take part in their annual and beloved Oktoberfest festivities.
This year there will be events in Leavenworth and Wenatchee.
Leavenworth Events
The city of Leavenworth will be hosting their own Oktoberfest festivities this year. The events will take place in downtown Leavenworth on Sept 30-Oct 1, Oct 7-8, and Oct 14-15, and will differ from years in the past by providing more community and family-friendly focused activities.
What are the changes?
The festival area will be more spread out, with activities and events happening in the Festhalle, Front Street Park, and other downtown areas. Beer from local breweries will be served, alongside plenty of traditional German beers, and a special festival beer on tap at the beer gardens. Families will enjoy more family-friendly events, including a Kinderplatz with a root beer garden.
Wenatchee Events
Projekt Bayern will be hosting the 23-year-old Leavenworth Oktoberfest at the Town Center in Wenatchee this year. The festivities will take place Sept 30-Oct 1, Oct 7-8, and Oct 14-15.
