Garibaldi Vacation Rentals by Meredith Lodging
Sweeping down from a curving hillside on North Tillamook Bay, this small fishing village is packed with places to explore. Its working fishing harbor, the Port of Garibaldi, features commercial boats, fishing charters, and fish canneries. You can often buy fresh fish off the docks. You can also use the public boat launch, or fish and crab from Pier’s End, the longest (700 foot!) pier in Oregon. Check out our Garibaldi vacation rentals below!
Landlubbers can ride the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad in a steam-powered train that skirts the bay’s edge and inland through woods and wetlands to Rockaway Beach. At the Garibaldi Maritime Museum, you’ll learn about Captain Robert Gray, the 18th-century explorer who discovered the Columbia River, and see artifacts from Garibaldi’s history. Paddle a kayak around the bay, go clamming under Pier’s End, slurp fresh oysters at a restaurant or enjoy several annual festivals in this small town with a big taste of the sea.
