Mirror Pond in Drake Park – Bend, Oregon
Mirror Pond is a gorgeous spot located in Bend’s lovable downtown area on the Deschutes River. It is one of Drake Park’s most popular attractions and is surrounded by luscious greenery and tall trees. Visitors can relax in the peaceful setting and watch ducks, geese, and other waterfowl take flight. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs (stand-up paddleboards), and small fishing boats are also welcome on the pond. The little lake’s sparkling waters not only attract locals but visitors too with its plethora of waterfowl including Canadian geese and ducks. Among these, you can also find a pair of graceful swans all the way from England floating serenely in Mirror Pond. If that weren’t enough, there are plenty of events hosted at nearby Drake Park to keep you busy! And when your stomach starts grumbling, have no fear!
