The nostalgic rail trip ends in Rockaway and returns to Garibaldi on daytime trips from May to September, and you’ll have a front-row seat as you relax on one of the two east-facing decks overlooking the quaint downtown area and coastal foothills. You’ll enjoy third-floor views from the elegant great room with its hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, inset lighting, gas fireplace and large flat-screen TV; Not to mention the plush sectional for lounging with friends. A formal dining area and fully equipped kitchen with gleaming countertops, stainless appliances and a bay window for plenty of light give you beautiful options for eating in. The second floor has a spacious queen bedroom and full bath, a bedroom with two beds, and a foosball table in the bonus room. It’s an excellent launchpad for exploring the North Oregon Coast and its small towns, beaches, and hiking trails. Rockaway’s beach and town are minutes away on foot. Or hop on the train for a scenic, open-car rail trip to Garibaldi, and swing right by your own hideaway on your way back!
