Neahkahnie Mountain Trail & Loop via the South Trailhead
Embark on a breathtaking 2.5 mile loop trail near Nehalem, Oregon. The journey around this challenging track typically takes an hour and forty-eight minutes to complete. It’s no surprise that it is so popular with hikers since you may come across other folks while exploring! Dogs are welcome too but must remain leashed at all times.
This excursion begins at the south trailhead. Alternatively, there is a more rustic northern trailhead for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.
Embark on an unforgettable outdoor adventure by completing this hike as a loop or out-and-back using either one of the trails starting at the trailhead.
If you’re looking for an epic view of Nehalem Bay and the Pacific Ocean, then this coastal peak is a must-see. Be warned though: users have reported that this trail isn’t maintained, so make sure to come prepared!
