Raise a Glass to Mom This Mother’s Day – Wine Tasting on the Oregon Coast!

Wine tasting on the Oregon Coast can be a wonderful and memorable experience, combining scenic coastal views with the flavors of locally produced wines. While the Oregon Coast is not as renowned for wine as regions like Willamette Valley, it still offers some excellent wineries and tasting rooms to explore.   Here are a few notable options where you can sip & celebrate Mom:  Nehalem Bay Winery   This third-generation, family-owned winery is located near Nehalem Bay State Park on the northern Oregon Coast. One of Oregon’s ten oldest wineries, they proudly pour a range of wines from locally grown grapes, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay. Stop by their tasting room where you can sample their wines and enjoy views of the sublime countryside.  Depoe Bay Winery  Situated in the charming coastal town of Depoe Bay, this winery specializes in fruit wines made from Oregon-grown fruits such as berries and apples. They also offer traditional red and white grape varietals, and their tasting room provides a cozy atmosphere for wine enthusiasts. You may even get to spout a whale while sipping!   Flying Dutchman Winery  Nestled along the coast near Devil’s Punchbowl State Natural Area, this winery boasts a stunning location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Visitors can enjoy sampling a variety of wines, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and unique fruit wines while taking in panoramic coastal views.  The Winery at Manzanita  This winery is the ideal place to spend an afternoon with the whole family – dogs included! Guests can enjoy sipping wine from an ocean view deck or gathered around a fire pit. Toast mom with a glass (or bottle!) of delicate Pinot Noir, a crisp white, or a bold red. Cheers!  Find a wine mom likes? Buy a bottle to enjoy back at your cozy Meredith Lodging vacation rental, or surprise her by signing her up for a wine club where she can enjoy memories of a magical Mother’s Day getaway as she sips on a taste of Oregon!  Ready to Book a Mother’s Day Getaway to the Oregon Coast?  Meredith Lodging has an amazing collection of vacation rentals to suit all sizes and budgets along the coast.
