Family-Friendly Activities in Caldera Springs, Oregon
There’s plenty to do for families in Caldera Springs! In the summer, enjoy the sun at one of our three pools or take a dip in the refreshing Deschutes River. Our tennis courts are open to the public and are perfect for a game or two. Don’t forget about our 18-hole disc golf course that weaves through the trees – it’s a great way to explore nature. In the winter, go for a sleigh ride or take a walk on our scenic nature trails. Ice skating is also available at the community center.

Quarry Pool.
Sporting an infinity edge pool with beach-style entry, two outdoor spa pools plus a kids splash deck, a water slide and built-in water guns, we guarantee the whole family will have a blast! The Quarry Pool is open seasonally, usually from Memorial Day through September.
The Lake House.
With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, stunning views of Obsidian Lake and Mt. Bachelor, and a fire pit and a stone fireplace, The Caldera Springs Lake House will be your social and activity hub. The seasonal outdoor deck and beach feature both a fire pit and stone fireplace perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Summer lawn games are also a popular pastime at The Lake House. You can also rent bikes and boats here for another fun way to explore the seven acres of lakes and miles of streams that sparkle throughout Caldera Springs.
Caldera Links.
The same team that designed the award winning Crosswater Golf Course brings you Caldera Links, a family-friendly 9-hole golf course that makes the game approachable and enjoyable for all.
Discovery Park.
Do your little ones love to climb, swing, dig, and experiment? Discovery Park features life-sized musical instruments, a climbing rock for daring little climbers, an interactive stream and waterway system and high-flying swings.
Fitness Center.
Caldera Springs guests have access to the fully furnished fitness center and year-round outdoor spas. You can also enjoy the sport courts for a friendly game of tennis, pickle ball, or basketball with the whole family.
Enjoy Trailmere Lake and/or Obsidian Lake.
Float Obsidian or Trailmere Lake on your choice of kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard. The friendly staff at The Lake House Concierge will get you geared up for a memorable day out on the water. Catch and release fishing for rainbow trout is also a fun family favorite activity here.
Zeppa Bistro.
Zeppa Bistro overlooks the lake and features indoor and outdoor seating on their expansive patio – four-legged friends are welcome too! Unwind with a glass of wine and one of their delicious brick-oven pizzas as you soak up the breathtaking views of Mt. Bachelor. Do not forget to save some room for their artisan gelato. Zeppa Bistro is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
